OVERVIEW:

Control arms are essential components of any car's suspension system. They feature a pivot on either end, and are responsible for linking the suspension members to the frame of the car. Bushings, cylindrical linings that reduce friction, work in tandem with control arms to limit the range of movement of the vehicle and ensure smooth, controlled ride quality.

Without them, turning and steering would become much more difficult and uncomfortable. Regular lubrication of the control arms is recommended at each oil change to maintain proper operation.
