2024 Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1000 Pros & Cons
Italian made Moto Guzzi Stelvio 1000 is back in 2024, Here’s its pros and cons.
Pros: What Makes the Stelvio 1000 Stand Out
Electrically Adjustable Windscreen
This is my number one favourite thing in 2024 Stelvio 1000, electric windscreen is very effective to provide wind protection. I know you must be thinking this is an luxury gimmick but it is not a gimmick it is actual practical feature. However, if you are taller then you will have to look aftermarket taller screen.
Iconic V-Twin Sound and Layout
I am personally impressed with Moto Guzzi’s transversely-mounted V-twin engine. This setup does provide fun to drive feeling. It’s distinct sound and layout just feel like pure Moto Guzzi DNA. It is much more fun than BMW, KTM, or Honda.
Exceptionally Comfortable Seat
Let me tell you, you can’t ignore comfortable seats of 2024 Guzzi Stelvio 1000. These well-padded seats shaped for long-distance comfort. Riders who like softer saddles are definitely going to love these seats. After riding it for more than 300 miles i can tell you that It’s the kind of seats that allows you to clock miles without constant breaks or discomfort.
Composed Suspension on Larger Bumps
I have to admit that 2024 Guzzi Stelvio 1000 does have good suspensions. On the rough patches i felt very stable and composed.
Radar-Based Safety Tech
Tech section is where Stelvio 1000 shine, radar functions like Adaptive Cruise Control & Blind Spot Detection keep you safe distance from other vehicles and keep you aware about blind spots. Inclusion of such advance features shows how good this vehicle is.
That’s all the pros we have about 2024 Stelvio 1000 and lets check some of it’s cons.
Cons: Where the Stelvio 1000 Falls Short
Harsh First Gear Engagement
Guys, i am being honest to you the first gear engagement is need to be refined. Sometime its too aggressive and will definitely give you pushback feeling. We all might get adopted to it but still it’s an annoying feeling.
Poor Mid-Corner Brake Stability
Cornering on 2024 Stelvio 1000 does not feel good. i am telling you this because when i pressed front break on cornering it felt unstable and i had to make it straight from leaned position. so, yes that’s another part i don’t like about it.
Lackluster Engine Performance
The V-twin may sound great, but let’s be honest about its performance which is not exceptional. below 6,000 RPM engine feel very sluggish and slow. Accelerating or overtaking in the hill areas felt very low and takes too much time to get RPM high.
Missing Basic Features
Despite the high-tech radar and electronic windscreen, several basic yet crucial features are either optional or missing entirely:
- No quickshifter
- No heated grips
- No tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS)
- No center stand
- No keyless ignition
- No electronic suspension
- No adjustable seat height
This mix of high-end tech and missing fundamentals creates an awkward imbalance in the equipment list.
